Favorite Links
Favorite Links is a general purpose links listing system for MODx. It can be use for anything from a simple listing of links, such as a blog roll, to an entire directory of links.
Favorite Links consists of a module which allows one to manage a list of links/tags as well as a corresponding snippet which handles link display/archival. An optional snippet handles authentication and posting of links via web form or bookmarklet.
Installation:
Download the main archive below. Extract the archive and upload the folder, "FavoriteLinks", to the assets/snippets directory of the MODx installation.
Create a new snippet within the MODx manager, then copy and paste the contents of "FavoriteLinks.snippet.php" into the textarea input box.
Create a new module and copy and paste the contents of "FavoriteLinks.module.php", the module will automatically create the necessary database table if it doesn't already exist.
The optional Favorite Links Form snippet can be downloaded and installed using the above procedure.
